Cristiano Ronaldo's mum, Dolores Aveiro was arrested at Madrid airport with €55,000 (N12 Million) in her handbag according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo. She was stopped while waiting to board a flight home to Portugal. She could not explain to officials why she was carrying so much cash. Officials have said the money will be confiscated until she pays a fine and fills in the correct documentation. Spanish Money Laundering laws state that the maximum amount travelers are permitted to take out of Spain without declaring is €10,000. Ronaldo's earns around a €350,000/week at Real Madrid, that's probably change for him.
